Nghe An won the excellent collective prize and 2 C prizes at the Political Writing Contest to protect the Party's ideological foundation.

After more than 8 months of launching, the political writing contest "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation"2nd timereceived 116,252 entries. There were 15 units and localities receiving 1,000 or more entries, typically the Central Military Commission with 56,243 entries.

After completing the judging process, the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, and the Jury met, evaluated, and carefully reviewed each work, selecting the 102 best works to award prizes. The Organizing Committee also awarded 15 prizes to groups that launched the contest extensively and many high-quality articles. Nghe An province was honored to receive the excellent group prize and 2 C prizes (comrade Nguyen Van Thuc, Vinh City Police officer and comrade Nguyen Tien Dung, Nam Dan District Police officer).

At the closing and award ceremony, the Organizing Committee launched the third contest - 2023; and decided that this would be an annual contest; the closing and award ceremony would take place on October 22, the day the Politburo issued Resolution 35/TW on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation" in 2018./.
