Nghe An won Gold Medal at National Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - The national family table tennis and badminton tournament was organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tay Ninh province from August 2 to August 9 in Tay Ninh city, Tay Ninh province, gathering nearly 400 athletes from 28 provinces and cities across the country to participate.
The 2018 National Family Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament competes in both table tennis and badminton, with the following categories: husband and wife, father and son, father and daughter, mother and son, mother and daughter.

Nghe An delegation participated with 10 athletes and achieved excellent results including 5 medals (1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal, 3 Bronze Medals). Of which, 1 Gold Medal for the couple event (Tran Van Duc, Nguyen Khanh Chi) Tuong Duong district; 1 Silver Medal for the couple Nguyen Hai Anh, Mr. Thi Bich Hanh, Vinh city.
1 Bronze Medal in the father and daughter category (Nguyen Van Truong, Nguyen Thi Hai An) of Nghe An Newspaper. 1 Bronze Medal in the father and son category of Tran Van Duc, Tran Van Lieu of Tuong Duong district, 1 Bronze Medal in the mother and daughter category of Thai Thi Minh and Mr. Thi Bich Hanh (Vinh City).

The national family table tennis and badminton tournament is a useful sports playground for families; thereby creating conditions for athletes and families to exchange, learn expertise, experience and develop the local sports movement, especially for table tennis and badminton.
