At the conference, the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Provincial Military Command reviewed, discussed and voted unanimously to propose the Emulation and Commendation Council of Nghe An province and the Emulation and Commendation Council of Military Region 4 to consider awarding the title "Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces during the Resistance War against America to Save the Country" to the people and armed forces of Thanh Tien and Xuan Lam communes.

Also at the conference, the Emulation and Commendation Council of the Provincial Military Command voted unanimously to propose the Prime Minister to award Certificates of Merit to the Military Command of Quynh Luu district and the Military Command of Nam Dan district for continuously achieving excellent achievements in the emulation movement to win from 2013 to 2018; proposed the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, Military Region 4, and the Ministry of National Defense to consider awarding the title "Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces in the Renewal Period" to the collective of the Military Command of Nghe An province...
