Nghe An: Proposal to fine 135 million VND for 9 cases of gambling during the epidemic season

(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to being proposed to be fined a total of 135 million VND, 9 cases of gathering to gamble during the Covid-19 epidemic in Nghia Thuan commune, Thai Hoa town were also subject to the authorities' consolidation of records for illegal gambling.

Previously, on September 3 and 4, at the acacia hill area in hamlet 2 and Ms. NTC's family in hamlet 4, Nghia Thuan commune, Thai Hoa town, Nghia Thuan commune police arrested 2 cases, 9 cases residing in Nghia Thuan commune were gambling.

9 cases, including: NTC (born in 1971), NTH (born in 1978), HVS (born in 1980), VVT (born in 1974), NVT (born in 1978), CXM (born in 1991), HVS (born in 1971), VQL (born in 1980) and NVL (born in 1986).

Evidence seized at the scene included 4 decks of playing cards; 1 set of bowls and plates; 3.2 million VND in cash and some gambling evidence.

Currently, Thai Hoa Town Police are consolidating records to handle the above cases of gambling and gathering in crowds, violating regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

As for behaviorcrowd, Thai Hoa town police are proposing that Thai Hoa town People's Committee fine 9 people with a total fine of 135 million VND.
