In Tuong Duong district, in early March,African swine feveroccurred in Thach Giam commune. According to Mr. Mai Van Hoang - Deputy Director of the Agricultural Service Center of Tuong Duong district, African swine fever occurred in 2 households: Quang Van Long and Vi Thi May in Phong village, Thach Giam commune. The number of pigs destroyed was 38 breeding pigs that had been re-herded for more than a month.

The reason, according to Mr. Hoang, is that these households bought piglets from the lowlands, infected with diseases; or used unsafe food. Because this area has had epidemics before. Immediately after the results were available,positiveWith African swine fever on March 6, the District People's Committee issued a decision to announce the epidemic in Thach Giam commune. Currently, the local government is implementing measuressolutions to prevent and control epidemicsaccording to the regulations of the Veterinary Department.

In Dien Chau district, African swine fever has recurred in many communes since February. According to information from the Dien Chau District Agricultural Service Center, as of March 12, there are 7 communes in the district that tested positive for African swine fever: Dien Dong, Dien Tho, Dien Lam, Dien Phu, Dien Thai, Dien Nguyen and Minh Chau. Total number of pigsdestroy81 animals, total weight 3,012 kg.

In addition, some districts such as Quynh Luu and Do Luong have also recently experienced a resurgence of the epidemic.

According to the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, recently, African swine fever has recurred in many districts: Con Cuong, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Tuong Duong. However, in each locality, it only occurs in 1-3 communes, the most is Dien Chau district with 7 communes, the number of pigs destroyed is not much.

Mr. Ngo Duc Quynh - Deputy Head of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine advised that African swine fever has occurred in many places recently, people should not be subjective, and need to implement disease prevention solutions according to the instructions of the Veterinary Department, to protect their pigs./.
