(Baonghean.vn) - On July 18 and 19, at Nam Lach Quen fishing port located in Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu, Nghe An, a disaster prevention and search and rescue drill took place.

The exercise was organized by Nghe An Fishing Port Management Board in coordination with Cua Lo Town Military Command, Border Guard Station 148, Quynh Luu District Hospital, People's Committees of Quynh Thuan, Quynh Long, Tien Thuy, Son Hai communes (Quynh Luu district) and fishermen, and some businesses in the area.

The hypothetical situation is that during the storm season, when a storm is occurring, a fishing boat of fishermen is in trouble at sea, directly threatening the lives of fishermen, with the risk of sinking the boat.

The above scenarios are hypothetical exercises, but they are common during storm and flood season.
