Nghe An: Enterprises purchase forest wood for 12 mountainous districts

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 5, the delegation of May Forestry Joint Stock Company had a working session with the leaders of Con Cuong district to cooperate in implementing policies in purchasing wood and organizing forest planting on planned land to provide raw materials for the Nghe An Wood Processing Factory project.

May Forestry Joint Stock Company - the investor of the project "Nghe An Wood Processing Factory" has put into operation the panel production line and is expected to put into operation the MDF production line in May 2016.

According to the project investment report, phase I with a capacity of 130,000m³/year will use the existing wood resources from planted forests in 12 districts and phase II will use wood resources planted right now. The project's raw material area has been planned by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee with a total area of ​​45,011.5 hectares.

Wood is processed at May Forestry Joint Stock Company.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues related to the organization of purchasing, timber purchasing policy, payment regime, management fees, plans and policies in organizing forest planting on land planned by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh - General Director of May Forestry Joint Stock Company proposed that the leaders of Con Cuong district create favorable conditions in terms of law and management, direct and guide the cooperation between units in purchasing wood and organizing forest planting on planned land; from there, it is possible to soon sign contracts to carry out purchasing activities in the shortest time.

On the afternoon of April 5 and April 6, the working delegation of May Forestry Joint Stock Company continued to work with the leaders of Anh Son, Thanh Chuong and Yen Thanh districts.
