Nghe An welcomes more than 500,000 tourists during the holidays

The 5-day holiday of April 30 and May 1, the weather is quite favorable for tourism and entertainment activities, so the number of visitors to Nghe An tourist attractions is quite large.
According to a quick report from the Department of Tourism, as of the afternoon of May 1, the number of tourists in the whole province is estimated to reach over 500,000. Of which, the number of overnight guests is estimated to reach over 170,000, international visitors are nearly 2,200, total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 280 billion VND.

Compared to tourist destinations across the province, Cua Lo town accounts for the largest number of visitors with more than 400,000 arrivals; followed by Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan) with 71,000 arrivals; Muong Thanh Safari (Dien Chau) with 40,000 arrivals; and Truong Bon Historical Relic Site with 11,000 arrivals.
Besides, some other places such as Che Island (Thanh Chuong), Con Cuong, Quy Chau also welcome and serve a large number of visitors.

Along with the work of maintaining and ensuring security and order, the promotion of tourism potential as well as the image of Nghe An people and homeland is of special interest. Shelves for Nghe An tourism publications are placed at bus stations, train stations, airports; the Tourism Information counter at Vinh Airport operates quite effectively, fulfilling the task of providing information to domestic and international tourists by air.
