Nghe An welcomes more than 70,000 tourists during New Year holiday
(Baonghean.vn) - The weather during the New Year holiday was quite favorable for entertainment and relaxation activities, so tourist attractions in Nghe An welcomed a large number of visitors, with the total number of visitors to the province being more than 70,000.
According to the report ofDepartment of Tourism, during the 3-day holiday (from January 1 to 3, 2021), Nghe An welcomed about 70,000 visitors and vacationers. Of which, the number of overnight guests reached nearly 18,000; international visitors (mainly business and diplomatic guests) reached nearly 300. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 20.6 billion VND.

Preliminary statistics show that in the first days of the new year, most of the 2-5 star hotels in Nghe An were fully booked, with occupancy rates at a fairly high level. The number of visitors to tourist attractions increased dramatically. Typically, Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument had 17,000 visitors;Truong Bon Relic Site1,800 visits.
