Nghe An welcomes more than 700,000 tourists during the holidays
(Baonghean.vn) - During the 4-day holiday of April 30 and May 1, Nghe An welcomed about 712,000 tourists, with revenue from tourism services estimated at 855 billion VND.
On the occasion of the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, workers have a long 4-day break (from April 30 to May 3), the weather is quite nice and favorable for recreational activities and sightseeing. Moreover, after more than 2 years of travel restrictions due to the pandemic,Covid-19 epidemic, this is an opportunity for people to organize tourism activities to relieve stress, find positive energy, create motivation in work, production and business. Therefore, tourist attractions in Nghe An attract a large number of tourists to visit and experience.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year, Nghe An is expected to welcome 712,000 visitors, of which 285,000 are staying guests; revenue from tourism services: 855 billion VND.hotel3-5 star hotels in Cua Lo town and some tourist spots in Dien Chau and Con Cuong reached 90-100% capacity; many tourist areas and spots in the province are operating beyond capacity.

The places with a large number of tourists are: Cua Lo town (about 80,000 arrivals); Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (more than 48,500 arrivals); Con Cuong district (more than 25,000 arrivals); Nghia Dan district (21,000 arrivals); Ong Hoang Muoi temple, Hung Nguyen district (more than 16,000 arrivals); Truong Bon National Relic Site, Do Luong district (about 7,000 arrivals); National historical relicNguyen Xi Temple, Nghi Loc district (about 5,000 times)...
As of the afternoon of May 3, all business, sightseeing and tourism activities were under control, with no regrettable violations occurring. Security and order were ensured, and tourist attractions were organized to welcome and serve tourists safely in terms of both people and property.
