During the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and April 30th - May 1st holidays, Nghe An province is estimated to welcome and serve approximately 1.21 million visitors; total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 2,191 billion VND.
According to the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this year's extended holiday period, favorable weather, and the simultaneous organization of numerous cultural, festival, sports, and entertainment activities have contributed to attracting a large number of tourists to visit and relax.

The highlight that kicks off the summer tourist season isOpening Ceremony Program of Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2026With the theme "Cua Lo - The Quintessence of Lam Thuy", the event took place on the evening of April 25th at Binh Minh Square, Cua Lo Ward. This large-scale art program, combined with a 15-minute high-altitude fireworks display, attracted a large number of locals and tourists.
In addition, a series of activities will be held at VinWonders Cua Hoi during the April 30th - May 1st holiday, along withMarathon "Following in the Footsteps of Uncle Ho - For National Security"Organized on May 2nd with over 3,000 athletes participating, the event contributed to increasing the attractiveness of Nghe An tourism during the holiday period.
As a result, during the two holiday periods, the province is estimated to welcome approximately 1,210,000 visitors, of which 420,000 are overnight guests; the average occupancy rate of accommodation reached over 70%. On peak days such as April 25th, April 30th, May 1st, and May 2nd, the average occupancy rate reached approximately 90%. Total revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 2,191 billion VND; revenue from tourism services is estimated at 846 billion VND.

Tourists are mainly concentrated in coastal tourist areas, cultural and spiritual tourist destinations, ecotourism areas, and community tourism areas. Many key destinations recorded a high increase in visitors, such as the Kim Lien Historical Site, Muong Thanh Safari Dien Lam Ecotourism Area, Do Luong Legend Camping & Resort, Truong Bon National Historical Site, Ong Hoang Muoi Temple, Kilometer 0 National Special Monument, and tourist destinations in Western Nghe An.
Notably, VinWonders Cua Hoi welcomed over 70,000 visitors from April 25th to May 2nd; the estimated number is expected to reach over 75,000 by May 3rd. On peak days, the amusement park recorded approximately 23,000 ticket buyers, not including walk-in visitors.

In Cua Lo, during the two holiday periods, the locality welcomed over 500,000 visitors, including more than 150,000 overnight guests; revenue is estimated at over 400 billion VND. Coastal tourist destinations such as Quynh Beach and Cua Hien also recorded a high increase in visitor numbers.
Before and during the peak season, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed localities, management boards of tourist areas and attractions, and service businesses to implement plans to ensure security and safety; improve service quality; inspect food safety and hygiene; prevent and control fires and explosions; and protect the environment and tourist landscape.
Overall, tourism activities in the province are vibrant and safe; tourist areas and attractions basically meet the needs of visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, contributing to promoting the image of Nghe An as a safe, friendly, and attractive province.
