Nghe An: Vinh Bus Station to close on April 11
(Baonghean.vn) - Due to some problems, the closure of Vinh Bus Station in the city center to relocate to the Northern Bus Station will be delayed by 10 days compared to the deadline previously set by the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
On the morning of March 12, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee led a working delegation to inspect the construction site of the Northern Bus Station (in Nghi Kim Commune, Vinh City). Here, about 160 workers have made efforts to complete the final items.

According to Mr. Tran Minh Thanh - General Director of Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company, the main item is the operating house, the rough part is basically completed, the unit is urgently completing the finishing touches such as: painting, installing electricity, etc.
“First of all, Nghe An Bus Station Joint Stock Company would like to admit its shortcomings to Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Department of Transport and relevant authorities for the delay in the progress of this project,” said Mr. Thanh.

The investor representative said that the construction items will be completed by March 25 at the latest. After that, the acceptance procedures and trial operation will be completed... This bus station is expected to be put into operation on April 11, and Vinh Bus Station in the city center will be closed at the same time.
Explaining the delay, Mr. Tran Minh Thanh said there were many factors such as: prolonged rainy weather causing difficulties in construction; construction was suspended for a long time due to labor safety issues...

At the meeting, after listening to reports from representatives of departments and branches, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien agreed with the proposal that the bus station would be put into operation on April 11, which is 10 days later than the deadline previously set by the Provincial People's Committee, March 31.
Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien requested the investor to continue to increase the workforce, arrange work scientifically, and meet the set schedule. Complete the documents for project acceptance. Complete related procedures such as waste discharge, connection to the collector road, etc.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned relevant departments, branches and local authorities to actively support the relocation of the bus station on time.
