Nghe An: Raid on chicken farm and coffee shop, arrest 23 gamblers
(Baonghean.vn) - Receiving information from the public about large-scale gambling activities in Hamlet 6, Trang Son Commune, Do Luong District, the provincial police leaders directed the Criminal Police Department to quickly set up a project to investigate and eradicate the organization.
In the early morning of September 30, 2021, more than 50 officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province simultaneously raided two locations: Nguyen Van Dong's chicken farm and Nguyen Van Tu's coffee shop, both in Hamlet 6, Trang Son Commune, Do Luong District, arresting all 23 organizers.gambleand gambling in the form of playing cards for money. Of which, 20 subjects were arrested at the chicken farm.
Evidence seized at the scene included: more than 700 million VND, 30 mobile phones, 05 cars, 16 motorbikes and many decks of cards that the subjects used for gambling.

This is a very professionally organized gambling den. The three subjects Truong Xuan Thanh, Nguyen Hai Dang, and Nguyen Van Tu discussed and rented Nguyen Van Dong's chicken farm to organize gambling. This chicken farm is protected by a system of fences and sturdy barbed wire.
The gambling room is solidly built, protected by many layers of iron doors, designed to be spacious and air-conditioned so that dozens of gamblers can gamble for long periods of time.

During the gambling, the ringleaders arranged for people to guard in many layers. When strangers appeared, they immediately alerted their accomplices to disperse and destroy the evidence.
Therefore, to eradicate this gambling den, the police force had to use many professional measures in sync, carefully calculate situations, and spend a lot of time and effort to be able to catch the gamblers red-handed.
