Nghe An plans to start Covid-19 vaccination from April 20
(Baonghean.vn) - This information was just given at the Covid-19 vaccination training conference held this morning, April 15. Nghe An is expected to start vaccinating from April 20 and complete vaccination before May 10.

During 2 days (April 15-16), the Provincial Center for Disease Control and the Nghe An Department of Health organized training on Covid-19 vaccination for some priority groups in the first phase of 2021.
Attending the training course were leaders and officers directly implementing the Covid-19 vaccination campaign of public and non-public hospitals; district, city and town medical centers in the province; and medical units in the province.
At the training course, lecturers from the Provincial Center for Disease Control took turns to convey the following contents: Plan to organize Covid-19 vaccination for some priority groups in the first phase of 2021; Instructions for screening, vaccination indications and counseling for vaccination subjects; Instructions for handling reactions after vaccination.Covid-19; Vaccination safety in the Covid-19 epidemic situation.
Nghe An Department of Health requires all forces participating in vaccination to have a certificate of vaccination safety and be trained in vaccination.Covid-19.

Because the Covid-19 vaccine is a new vaccine, the Nghe An Health Department must conduct retraining on vaccine use and monitoring and handling of post-vaccination incidents. Immediately after the Provincial Center for Disease Control organizes the training; the trained units will conduct training for the grassroots level of wards, communes and towns.

Nghe An currently has 512 vaccination facilities. In this first phase of the campaign, Nghe An only organizes vaccinations at vaccination points associated with hospitals or medical centers or other vaccination facilities from the district level and above, ensuring convenience and quick response to emergency care for post-vaccination reactions...
On April 19, the Provincial Center for Disease Control will organize a delegation to inspect vaccination sites in the first phase./.
