Nghe An is proposed to meet the standard of universal primary education level 3.
(Baonghean.vn) - With the results of the inspection and survey, Nghe An province was proposed by the Working Group to be recognized by the Minister of Education and Training as the 25th province in the country to meet the standard of universal primary education level 3.
On the morning of June 2, the Inspection Team recognizing Nghe An province as meeting the standard of universal primary education level 3 of the Ministry of Education and Training had a working session with the Steering Committee for universal education and illiteracy eradication of Nghe An province.

Attending the meeting were members of the Inspection Team recognizing Nghe An province as meeting the standards for universal primary education level 3 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were members of the Provincial Steering Committee for Universal Education and Illiteracy Eradication; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; representatives of the Steering Committee for Universal Education and Illiteracy Eradication of the districts: Tan Ky, Con Cuong, Quy Hop, Dien Chau, Cua Lo town and Vinh city.
Efforts to overcome difficulties
At the meeting, leaders of Nghe An Department of Education and Training reported on the results of universal primary education in 2021 and the directions, tasks and solutions for 2022. Accordingly, the workliteracy100% of communes, wards and towns meet level 2 literacy standards; 100% of districts, cities and towns meet level 2 literacy standards; Nghe An province meets the conditions and standards to be recognized as meeting level 2 literacy standards in 2021 according to the provisions of Decree 20/2014/ND-CP.

Regarding universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, in 2021, the rate reached 98.2% at the commune and ward levels and 100% at the district level. Nghe An province meets the conditions and standards for recognition of meeting the standards.universal education5 year old preschool according to regulations.

In 2022, Nghe An province aims to consolidate and maintain the results of universal primary education level 3 across the province; improve the quality of comprehensive education, resolutely fight against dropping out of school. Build a team of cadres and teachers who meet 100% of training standards; sufficient in number to organize teaching 2 sessions/day; ensure the team structure; strive for 100% of schools to have multi-purpose halls or playgrounds, training grounds, etc.
Based on a survey in 18/21 districts, cities and towns, members of the Inspection Team assessed the advantages and limitations of the work of combating illiteracy, universalizing education and building a society.studyin Nghe An. From there, suggest and orient Nghe An province to promote its strengths, overcome limitations in planning the school network, improve the quality of universal education...
Perform well in the new phase
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Nghe An always pays attention to doing well the work of combating illiteracy, universalizing education, and building a learning society. From the education sector, localities to the people, all are aware of caring for and developing the education career. Thereby, there are good and creative models and methods, achieving high efficiency.

However, the implementation process still faces certain difficulties such as lack of facilities, some localities still lack teachers, and combined classes still exist in remote communes...
In the coming time, the province will prioritize recruitment.teacherPrimary and Preschool levels and proposed to the Working Group to recommend to the Ministry of Education and Training and the Government to increase the staffing quota, helping Nghe An overcome the shortage of classroom teachers.
