(Baonghean.vn) - Today, the Department of Education and Training approved the benchmark scores of public high schools that only recruit NV1 in the province. As expected, Huynh Thuc Khang High School leads in benchmark scores.

Specifically, up to this point, the admission score to Huynh Thuc Khang High School is 34.5 points. This year's admission score is 4 points lower than the previous school year.

From tomorrow (July 12), the school will begin admission procedures for students.

Teacher Cao Thanh Bao - Principal of the school also said: This is not the final benchmark because specialized schools in Vinh city have not completed enrollment work.

It is expected that by July 15, the school will approve the second round of benchmark scores and by July 17, the school will finalize the admission list.

Do Luong 1 High School ranked second with a benchmark score of 31 points. This is a fairly high score, although this year the number of students applying to the school is not much. However, because the school's enrollment source is mainly good and excellent students, the enrollment quality is quite good.

In the remaining schools, the benchmark scores range from 20 to 24 points. Of which, Nguyen Duy Trinh High School is 22.2 points, Thai Lao High School is 24.2 points, Anh Son 1 High School is 22.4 points, Nguyen Xuan On High School is 24 points, Dien Chau 2 High School is 17.8 points, Dien Chau 3 High School is 24.26 points, Dien Chau 4 High School is 24.9 points, Phan Dang Luu High School is 22.3 points, Bac Yen Thanh High School is 22.4 points, Do Luong 3 High School is 28.1 points.

Schools with lower scores are Kim Lien High School with 15.2 points, Con Cuong High School with 13 points and Muong Qua High School with 11.4 points.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Head of Secondary Education Department, Department of Education and Training said: The annual benchmark score depends a lot on the exam questions and the school's enrollment rate. Schools with high competition rates and good quality candidates will have higher benchmark scores.

In addition, although this is the admission standard, in case many candidates have the same entrance score, schools will base on additional criteria to consider admission.

It is known that this year, in order to attract students to the school, many schools have policies to recruit high-quality candidates. For example, at Dien Chau 3 High School, for students who are admitted to specialized schools but do not enroll, the school will have a policy of exempting or reducing tuition fees and supporting school supplies.

Immediately after announcing NV1 benchmark scores, by July 15, the Department of Education and Training will approve additional scores (if missing) for schools that were approved on July 11.

On July 18, the Department will approve the remaining high schools and will approve additional ones (if any) for these schools on July 23.

By July 26, the Department will approve admission scores for non-public schools.
