Nghe An: Nearly 1,400 candidates apply for review of national high school exam results
(Baonghean.vn) -After announcing the results of the 2016 national high school exam, Nghe An received nearly 1,400 requests for re-examination from candidates.
Accordingly, at the local exam cluster, there were 669 applications, while at Vinh University, there were over 720 applications for re-examination. The number of re-examination exams was twice as many as the number of candidates who failed the graduation exam (with 777 candidates). Among the subjects for re-examination, the most were essay subjects such as Literature, Math, Geography and the essay part of English. The number of re-examination applications for multiple choice was lower. As at the local exam cluster, there were only 2 applications for Physics, 5 for Chemistry, 9 for Biology, etc.

According to Dr. Thai Huy Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training: After receiving the request for re-examination, the examination clusters will compile, collect the papers and proceed to re-examine. The results are expected to be available by August 4. Candidates will receive the re-examination results at the place where they submitted the re-examination application. For candidates using the national high school exam results for university and college admission, if the exam results change after the re-examination, they will receive an additional certificate of exam results with updated re-examination results.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates do not have to pay review fees.
