This figure shows the large scale of vehicles, and at the same time poses a significant challenge in traffic management and ensuring safety and order in the area.
The rapid increase in motor vehicles in recent times stems from many reasons: increased per capita income, high demand for personal vehicles, car prices tend to decrease thanks to tax support policies and market competition. In addition, the strong development of urban areas, industrial zones and key traffic routes such as the North-South Expressway also promotes the demand for purchasing vehicles to serve daily life, production and business.
However, the rapid increase in motor vehicles also puts significant pressure on traffic infrastructure, especially in the inner city areas of Vinh City. Some major roads often experience congestion during rush hours.
Faced with this situation, Nghe An province is promoting the application of technology in vehicle management, controlling traffic flow through surveillance cameras, increasing administrative sanctions through images; at the same time, continuing to deploy solutions to ensure traffic safety associated with smart urban management.
