(Baonghean.vn) - Oanh's family admitted that their actions stemmed from a misunderstanding and their inability to control their emotions.

Regarding the case of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao (born in 1967, residing in Nghi Dien commune, Nghi Loc district), who was falsely accused of kidnapping children and beaten at her home by a group of people, Nghi Loc district police have stepped in to clarify and have initial information.

Accordingly, on March 12, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bao filed a complaint and denunciation to the authorities, requesting clarification of the actions of a group of people who entered her house without reason, falsely accusing her of kidnapping and beating her at her private home.

According to the complaint, at around 10:30 a.m. on March 6, Ms. Bao was at home when she saw a girl about 10 years old come into the house asking for food. At that time, it was lunchtime so she immediately let the girl eat with her grandchildren.

At around 4pm that same day, suddenly 3 women and 4 men came to the house, beat them and shouted kidnapping. After being stopped by neighbors, these people stopped and left.

While beating Ms. Bao, the group filmed a clip and posted it on social media, accusing her of kidnapping a child. The incident left Ms. Bao with severe psychological effects in the days that followed.

During the verification, Nghi Loc District Police worked with Ms. Bao and the girl's family. The girl's name is Nguyen Thi Oanh (born in 2008, residing in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district).

After being informed by the teacher at school that Oanh had not been to school for a week, the family became worried and searched for their child. When they arrived at Ms. Bao's house, they found their child there. Feeling frustrated and unable to control themselves, these people slapped Ms. Bao and recorded a video.

“I don’t like going to school, so for the past week, I haven’t gone to class but instead go to my friends’ houses to play. When school is over, I go home. Every day I go to a different friend’s house. Yesterday, because I knew Uncle Bao’s child, I went to play,” Oanh recounted.

As for Ms. Bao, she asked Oanh's family to apologize for insulting and beating her, and requested that the video slandering her be removed from social media.

During the investigation, Oanh’s family admitted that their actions stemmed from a misunderstanding and an inability to control their emotions, leading to the above incident. The family also agreed to the requests made by Bao’s family.

Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are continuing to complete procedures to handle the case in accordance with the provisions of law.
