Nghe An rescues 2 women before they are sold to China
(Baonghean.vn) - Checking the sleeper bus, the police discovered that Huyen was taking two women to Mong Cai city (Quang Ninh) to sell them to China.
On May 30, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said it had just discovered and promptly prevented a case of illegal human trafficking to China, rescuing two female victims.

Previously, at around 4:15 p.m. on May 29, upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Traffic Police Team 1.7 (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police) to inspect a sleeper bus with license plate 37B-013.18 traveling through Anh Son town (Anh Son district).
Upon inspection, the police discovered that the car contained two women, Lo Thi Th. (born in 1985) and Lo Thi M. (born in 1989, both residing in Tam Dinh commune, Tuong Duong district), who were preparing to be taken to China.
The authorities have detained Vi Thi Huyen (born in 1985, residing in Ke Gia village, Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong district).
Initially, Huyen confessed that he was taking Th. and M. to Mong Cai city (Quang Ninh), then continuing to follow the illegal route to China to sell them for 17 million VND/person.
The incident is being investigated and clarified.
