Nghe An contributes ideas to the implementation of the Planning Law
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 25, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Planning and Investment to organize a conference to disseminate and guide the implementation of the Law on Planning.
Attending the conference wereComrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of a number of relevant departments and branches.
At the conference, delegates including representatives of provincial departments and branches; leaders of districts, cities, and planning consulting organizations will be introduced by a lecturer representing the Department of Planning Management - Ministry of Planning and Investment to the main content and answer related issues of the 2017 Planning Law, integrated planning methods; methods of planning and appraisal for the period 2021 - 2030; draft Decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Planning Law.

The 2017 Planning Law will take effect from January 1, 2019. This is a law with many new points in line with the reality of a developing country, associated with a market economy, socialist orientation and international integration; especially at the provincial level.
Implementing Resolution No. 11 dated February 5, 2018 of the Government on the implementation of the Law on Planning, in the past time, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has directed all levels and sectors to review the planning currently being implemented in the province and prepare the task of formulating the provincial planning for the new period 2021 - 2030. However, the implementation process is facing some difficulties and obstacles, affecting the progress.

Therefore, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the delegates to frankly discuss the difficulties and obstacles in planning work in the new spirit to have recommendations and proposals to adjust documents related to the Law on Planning as well as other accompanying laws more appropriately; the Department of Planning and Investment coordinates with relevant departments and branches to synthesize the responses to advise the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the planning of the province as soon as possible.
At the same time, it is recommended that relevant units deploy provincial planning, specialized technical planning, and components to integrate into provincial planning; Evaluate planning implementation results, and develop solutions for the 2021-2030 period./.
