Nghe An: Two firefighters save a girl who fell into a deep water hole

On May 2, a leader of Fire Police Department No. 6 (under Nghe An Fire Police) said that the unit had reported the incident and asked superiors to commend and reward the brave actions of two officers and soldiers who saved a girl who fell into a deep water hole at Khe Kem waterfall (Con Cuong district).

Previously, at around 10:30 a.m. on April 30, while on duty at Khe Kem waterfall area, Sergeant Nguyen Anh Tuan (born in 1996) and soldier Nguyen The Nhan (born in 1992) discovered that Tran Thi Khanh Huyen (born in 2007, from Block 3, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district) had unfortunately slipped and fallen into a water hole more than 2 meters deep.

At the time of the incident, Mr. Ha (Huyen's father) was holding his baby so he could not save Huyen in time.

Hearing the cries for help from the baby's parents, Mr. Tuan and Mr. Nhan immediately jumped into the water hole to save the struggling baby Huyen and brought her to shore safely.

Witnessing the incident, Huyen's family and many tourists expressed their gratitude for the brave and timely rescue of the two young firefighters.

When asked about his actions, Sergeant Tuan shared: “I think this is a normal thing to do and a duty to ensure the safety of people and tourists when visiting tourist attractions. At that time, we were in full uniform and jumped into the water hole quickly to save the child safely without thinking about anything else.”

It is known that Mr. Ha's family went on a trip with his agency to Khe Kem waterfall during the April 30 and May 1 holidays when Huyen unfortunately fell into a water hole.

Khe Kem Waterfall is a tourist destination located in Pu Mat National Park, Con Cuong District. In addition to the majestic waterfall, there are some dangerous deep water holes and there have been drowning accidents in this area./.
