Nghe An: Two "special" candidates passed the high school graduation exam

(Baonghean.vn) -In the recent high school graduation exam in Nghe An province, a 9-month pregnant candidate and the oldest candidate were very happy to know that they passed the graduation exam.

They are Ms. Le Thi Thu (34 years old) - a 9-month pregnant woman currently working at the Yen Thang Commune Health Station (Tuong Duong District) and Mr. Vi Xuan Luyen (54 years old), Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Yen Thang Commune (Tuong Duong).

On the morning of June 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Que (Director of the Continuing Education Center of Con Cuong district) said that two special candidates of the school, Lo Thi Thu (34 years old, 9 months pregnant) and Vi Xuan Luyen (54 years old), the oldest candidate in Nghe An province, had passed the high school graduation exam.

According to Ms. Que, Ms. Thu scored 22 points (Math 5.5; Literature 2.5; Chemistry 6.0 and Physics 8.0), in addition, she was given 4 bonus points including 2 vocational points, 1 IT certificate point and 1 English certificate point. Combined with the 12th grade results, Ms. Thu's average graduation score is 5.75. Meanwhile, Mr. Luyen's total score for four subjects is 27.5 (Math 8.0; Literature 4.5; Physics 6.0 and Chemistry 9.0), achieving 6.5 graduation points.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Deputy Chief of Office of Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that this year, Con Cuong District Continuing Education Center had 34 candidates taking the exam and 100% passed the graduation exam. Meanwhile, the whole Nghe An province had 1,872 high school supplementary students passing the graduation exam (reaching a rate of 95.55%).
