Nghe An completes 100% of housing program for the poor
As of July 31, Nghe An has completed 100% of the housing program for the poor, of which 20,687 solid houses out of a total of 20,802 houses as planned have been handed over and put into use; the remaining 115 houses have been started to complete the entire 2023 - 2025 period.
From July 25 to 31, in parallel with focusing on stabilizing the organization and operation of the 2-level government, especially struggling to overcome the severe consequences caused by the circulation of storm No. 3; localities in the province continued to speed up the completion of houses that had been started and started construction of the remaining houses.
Specifically, in week 5, July 2025, in the province, 46 more houses (41 newly built, 5 repaired) were completed, handed over and put into use.
Of which, the Program supports 44 newly built houses from socialized sources; the National Target Program supports 22 newly built houses; the Program supports houses for meritorious people with 20 houses (15 newly built houses, 5 houses repaired).
Thus, as of July 31, 2025, the whole province has completed support for the construction and repair of 20,687 houses/total demand of 20,802 houses, reaching 99.45%.


Results of house building by commune-level administrative units, in week 5, July 2025, the whole province has 5 more localities completing the program. Eliminate dilapidated and makeshift houses; increase the total number of units completing 100% of housing for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances in the province to 105/130 communes and wards.
In 25 communes and wards that have not been completed, the remaining 115 houses have also started construction to complete according to the plan for the entire period of 2023 - 2025.

Specifically, the number of houses that have been started but not completed in 25 communes and wards (from high to low): Luong Minh commune 17 houses (13 newly built houses, 4 repaired houses); My Ly commune 16 newly built houses; Hai Chau commune 13 houses (12 newly built houses, 1 repaired house); Nga My commune 9 newly built houses; Duc Chau commune 8 newly built houses; Lam Thanh commune 6 newly built houses; Tan Chau commune 6 houses (5 newly built houses, 1 repaired house).
There are 4 units: Tan Phu, Hop Minh, Cat Ngan communes and Cua Lo ward, each unit has 4 newly built houses. Yen Thanh commune has 4 houses (3 newly built, 1 repaired); Bich Hao commune has 3 houses (1 newly built, 2 repaired); Huu Khuong commune has 3 newly built houses.
There are 3 communes: Tan Ky, Tan An, Xuan Lam, each unit has 2 newly built houses. There are 8 wards and communes: Vinh Hung, Muong Quang, An Chau, Dien Chau, Quang Dong, Quan Thanh, Quynh Luu, Quynh Van, each unit has 1 newly built house.

To complete the Program of mobilizing and supporting the construction of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties in the whole province, the Steering Committee for mobilizing and supporting the construction of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties of the province continues to urge and guide the grassroots level to focus on speeding up the progress of construction and repair of houses for the subjects; organize the handover of houses to people immediately after completion; at the same time, deploy the development of a plan to summarize the Program of eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses in the area, evaluate the implementation results and propose tasks for the coming time.
