Nghe An: Students get 30% tuition reduction in semester 1 due to the impact of Covid-19 epidemic

This is the support level for students in the whole province in the first semester of the 2021 - 2022 school year (4 months, from September to December 2021) for public preschool students, non-public preschool and primary school students, junior high school students and high school students and continuing education at high school level.

Depending on the subject, the numbertuitionThe maximum reduction is 84,000 VND/month (for students in public preschools, non-public preschools and primary schools in wards of Vinh city). In the whole province, the support level is 30%/month.

This Resolution does not apply support to subjects exempted from tuition fees as prescribed in Article 1 of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP.

Previously, at the November 2021 meeting, the Provincial People's Committee approved a draft Resolution regulating the mechanism for tuition support for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year for preschool children and high school students in Nghe An province due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the goal of building the Resolution is to share and support parents and students with tuition fees for preschool and primary school students during difficult times because ofCovid-19 epidemic. The funding source for implementation is the provincial budget with the proposed support amount of 40,569 billion VND.
