Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide in recent decades. In Vietnam, according to 2010 statistics, lung cancer ranks first in men, with 35 men suffering from the disease per 100,000 people. On average, each year, Nghe An Oncology Hospital examines and detects 4,000 - 4,500 new cases of various cancers, of which lung cancer accounts for the highest rate.
