Nghe An: More than 104 billion VND registered to support 'Tet For The Poor - Spring Quy Mao 2023'
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a registration and donation reception ceremony for Tet For the Poor Spring Quy Mao - 2023. Attending and chairing was comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.
As of this afternoon (December 30), 44 agencies, units, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists have registered and donated through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

At the reception ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province expressed her deep gratitude to the agencies, organizations, businesses, officials and people inside and outside the province who joined hands to support Tet For the Poor in 2023.
Currently, the whole Nghe An province still has more than 100,000 poor and near-poor households; nearly 12,000 orphans, many of whom are in extremely difficult circumstances. Therefore, this isnoble gesture, showing the heart and spirit of "mutual love and support" of units, organizations and individualsto work with localities to better care for social security, help poor and near-poor households to have a warm Lunar New Year.
Thus, as of 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2022, collectives and individuals across the province have registered to donate 104 billion VND to the program "Tet for the poor - Spring Quy Mao 2023". Of which, registered cash donations are nearly 40 billion VND; the value of goods is more than 64 billion VND.
