Nghe An: More than 11.5 billion VND to develop the science and technology market

Accordingly, the requirement is to create a favorable environment to promote and support the development of the province's science and technology market in order to increase the value of transactions in buying and selling science and technology products, services and intellectual property; improve the technological level of enterprises producing the province's main products; and strongly develop science and technology enterprises.
By 2020, Nghe An aims to have 15 science and technology enterprises established; increase the number of objects protected by industrial property with a result of 1,000 protected objects, focusing on supporting the registration of protection for inventions, utility solutions and the exploitation and development of intellectual property.
The province also has solutions to improve the operational efficiency of the Equipment Technology Exchange and the Supply-Demand Connection Point; and promote innovative start-up activities.
To achieve the above goal, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee proposed 3 main groups of solutions including: raising awareness and effectiveness of State management of the science and technology market; promoting science and technology market service activities; promoting technology demand and supporting enterprises in technology transfer.
Notably, every year, organizations, individuals and businesses in need will be supported to participate in fairs, exhibitions of equipment technology, and national, regional and international supply-demand connection points (ASEAN).
The province also supports the establishment of a science and technology business incubator at the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances; and innovative start-up businesses at the Center for Science, Technology and Informatics Information.
The budget allocated for developing the science and technology market is 11.57 billion VND from now until 2020; including the central budget (Ministry of Science and Technology) through the Science and Technology Market Development Program until 2020 according to Decision 2075/QD-TTg dated November 8, 2013 of the Prime Minister.
In addition, the province allocates local budget sources including: science and technology career sources and science and technology development investment sources. In addition, there are other legal capital sources from organizations, individuals and investment funds.
