Nghe An: More than 34,000 candidates entered the first exam subject of the 2016 National High School Exam

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 1, along with candidates across the country, more than 34,000 candidates from Nghe An took the Math exam, the first subject of the 2016 National High School Exam.

In the morning, to avoid traffic jams, all candidates were present at the exam site from 6:30 am. In front of Vinh University gate, the youth volunteers set up a fence to direct traffic and assist candidates when crossing the street. Along with that, the support team also helped candidates store their belongings and belongings.

At exactly 7 o'clock, candidates began to complete the procedures to prepare for the exam. To avoid confusion for candidates, the invigilators continued to read the exam regulations, reminding candidates about the items used in the exam room and prohibited items.

This is the second year the National High School Exam has been held to achieve two goals: graduation recognition and admission to universities and colleges. This year, Nghe An has about 34,000 candidates taking the exam, of which the local exam cluster has more than 12,000 candidates and the exam cluster chaired by Vinh University has nearly 22,000 candidates. The number of candidates in Nghe An ranks 4th in the country after Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa.

With a large number of candidates, Nghe An organized 61 examination sites with 1,229 examination rooms. In addition, 3,399 staff and students were mobilized to work as invigilators and more than 1,000 people participated in security and service work at the examinations.

According to the plan, this year's exam will take place in 4 days from July 1-4, 2016 with 8 subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography. The exam marking is expected to be carried out from July 7, 2015 to July 14, 2016.
