Nghe An: More than 4 billion VND to support the program 'Bricks of Love'

On the morning of March 31, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a launching ceremony for the campaign "Bricks of Love" to support poor members in building and repairing houses. Attending the launching ceremony were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and unions of Nghe An province.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Quang Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association emphasized: "Responding to the policy of the Provincial Party Standing Committee in Directive No. 21, dated February 10, 2023, on strengthening the Party's leadership in mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor in Nghe An province, the Provincial Farmers' Association Standing Committee issued Plan No. 21 dated March 16, 2023 on implementing the campaign "Bricks of Love" to support poor members to build and repair houses.

Accordingly, the campaign has 3 main activities: Mobilizing cadres, members, and farmers to contribute working days to support poor members in building and repairing houses; Mobilizing cadres, members, and farmers to share and support available supplies and materials to support poor members in building and repairing houses; Mobilizing cadres, members, and farmers to contribute "Bricks of affection" to support poor members in building and repairing houses, each member 5 bricks (worth 10,000 VND), each full-time cadre supports 1 day's salary.

On that basis, the Farmers' Associations of districts, cities and towns have launched and received the support of officials, farmer members, organizations and individuals. Up to now, the units have submitted registration documents to the Provincial Farmers' Association with the registered mobilization amount for 3 years (2023 - 2025) of more than 4 billion VND.

Summarizing 20 years of implementing Resolution 23-NQ/TW, dated March 12, 2003 of the 9th Party Central Committee "on promoting the strength of great national unity for a rich people, strong country, fair, democratic and civilized society", the Provincial Farmers' Association Party Delegation was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

At the launching ceremony, representatives of farmers' association members throughout the province presented support registration signs to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
