Nghe An: More than 783,000 students eagerly attend the opening ceremony of the new school year

Accordingly, the opening ceremony of the new school year this year will be held in two parts, the ceremony and the festival will be held simultaneously on September 5, 2018. Regarding the ceremony, according to the request of the Department of Education and Training, it must be organized briefly but ensure the full meaning of the "National Day of Bringing Children to School".

According to the schedule, this year the opening ceremony in Nghe An will be held simultaneously on September 5, 2018 with the participation of more than 783,000 students and more than 53,000 teachers in the whole industry.

As for the festival, schools organize fun, healthy, and impressive collective activities so that the opening day of school is truly a meaningful and important day for all students, especially those who are going to school for the first time.

In addition, depending on the actual situation, the school can organize cultural, artistic, sports and folk game activities; at the same time, create conditions for parents to celebrate the opening ceremony with their students.

In the 2018-2019 school year, before the opening day, many schools in the province suffered heavy damage from two floods. Currently, there are many difficulties in overcoming them, but localities are still making efforts so that all students can have the opening day on schedule.

In Ky Son district, according to Mr. Nguyen Hong Hoa - Head of the Department of Education and Training: In the past few days, with the support of departments, branches and local people, the cleaning of classrooms for schools affected by floods has been basically completed. The district's education sector has also received material support from units with a total amount of nearly 300 million VND.

On September 5, the Vietnam Education Trade Union will directly go to Muong Ai Primary School to attend the opening ceremony and support the construction of public housing with a total amount of 500 million VND.

In Con Cuong district, the Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Secondary School has also been moved to a new location at the Vocational College and Continuing Education Center in the town.
