Nghe An holds press conference to inform about the results of the 19th Provincial Party Congress

On the afternoon of October 18, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to announce the results.The 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Regarding the results of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department said that from October 16 to October 18, the Congress of Delegates took place at the Provincial Labor Culture House.Nghe An Provincial Party Committee19th Congress, term 2020 - 2025. The Congress was attended by 448 delegates, representing more than 193,000 Party members in the entire Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, the Congress Presidium called on delegates attending the Congress to support the Central provinces that are suffering heavy losses in human lives and property caused by storms and floods, with an amount of more than 200 million VND.

The Congress elected 64 comrades to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 19th term, 2020 - 2025. At the first meeting, the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected 16 comrades to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for the 19th term, 2020 - 2025 term; elected the Provincial Party Secretary, 2 Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; elected 12 members of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

The congress also elected 29 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to the delegation to attend the 13th National Congress of the Party. The congress also voted to pass the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

At the press conference, journalists and reporters thanked the Congress Organizing Committee for their attention, coordination and facilitation to help journalists and reporters work and report promptly. At the same time, they raised many questions about solutions to achieve the goals and targets in the Congress Resolution and to implement the direction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to develop Nghe An quickly and sustainably in the coming time.

After listening to the opinions of journalists and reporters, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that after 3 days, the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, was a great success.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that during the past term, administrative reform and improvement of the province's investment environment have been improved. However, there are still many issues that have not met the expectations of the people and businesses.

In the coming term, the provincial leaders will resolutely remove obstacles and difficulties, especially in administrative procedure reform, improving the investment and business environment, thereby increasing investment attraction for key projects, driving forces, contributing to job creation and increasing budget revenue for the province.
