Nghe An cooperates to produce green asparagus powder for export

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 23, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock Corporation coordinated with the National Institute of Nutrition to organize a cooperation ceremony to produce export products from green asparagus.

Attending the cooperation ceremony were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Vietnam National Institute of Nutrition.

Nha Ho Seed Joint Stock Company in Ninh Thuan province is a member company ofNghe An Agricultural Materials Joint Stock CorporationCurrently, the Company has 30 hectares of green asparagus produced according to VietGAP process with a yield of 2-3 tons/day. Fresh bamboo shoots are produced and processed into many products such as fresh bamboo shoots for export, nutritional powder...

Green Asparagusis a nutritious vegetable, cultivated by Agricultural Materials Corporation using high technology, watering economically with a drip irrigation system, the product is safe and has high value for health.

Nha Ho asparagus powder of Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation is a new product based on the cooperation project between the Corporation and scientists, expected to be launched at the end of the year. Currently, the Corporation is investing in a processing line with an output of 100 tons of powder/year for export to other countries.

At the meeting, Director of the National Institute of Nutrition Le Danh Tuyen said that through research and evaluation, Ninh Thuan has long hours of sunshine (2,700-3,000 hours), high average temperature, abundant radiation, low humidity, suitable for asparagus growth. Nha Ho asparagus products are therefore of high quality and the Institute will cooperate with the Corporation to launch new products that meet export standards.

Speaking at the cooperation ceremony, Vice Chairman Hoang Nghia Hieu highly appreciated the contribution of Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation and thanked the National Institute of Nutrition for its attention to the development of Nghe An enterprises. He said that this is a good model for enterprises to learn from and continue to cooperate with scientists to produce high-quality products.
