Nghe An mobilized 6 fire trucks and 3 squads to fight forest fire in Nghi Xuan
(Baonghean.vn) - After a pine forest fire broke out on Hong Linh mountain, upon receiving a request from Ha Tinh province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy directed functional forces to respond.
The forest fire in Nghi Xuan (Ha Tinh) started at 12 noon on June 28, in the pine hill area adjacent to Xuan Hong commune and Xuan An town (Nghi Xuan district). By 12 noon on June 29, the fire continued to spread south.

The authorities of Ha Tinh province and Nghi Xuan district mobilized people and equipment, coordinated with police forces, border guards, militia and local people with thousands of people coming to the scene to save the forest. Thousands of people were mobilized to fight the fire.

From the night of June 28, receiving a request from the neighboring province, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy directed the Fire Police of Nghe An province to send reinforcements.

Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police said: Last night, at the request of Ha Tinh, Nghe An sent 3 fire trucks to put out the fire and this morning, with the complicated situation, the other side requested support, Nghe An sent 3 more fire trucks to help the other province put out the fire. In total, there were nearly 30 officers and soldiers who went to put out the fire.
