Nghe An mobilizes hundreds of vehicles to transport citizens back to their hometowns.
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Transport mobilized 65 passenger cars, 38 trucks and driving practice cars, traveling hundreds of times to transport citizens back to their hometowns, to quarantine points and escort citizens from other provinces throughout Nghe An.
In recent days, Nghe An has welcomed thousands of people returning from the southern provinces. To ensure the safety of the people and ensure the work of disease prevention and control, immediately after arriving in Nghe An,Nghe An Department of Transportmobilized hundreds of vehicles to transport people to quarantine locations.

Infield reception point at the foot of Quyết mountain, between Ben Thuy 1 and Ben Thuy 2 bridges, this morning people are still gathering in large numbers waiting for their turn to be transferred to quarantine points. The functional forces gathered here are also trying their best to classify people according to each locality, each district cluster to arrange them at quarantine points appropriately.

Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Director of Nghe An Department of Transport said: In the past few days, the Department has mobilized 65 passenger cars, buses and 38 trucks, driving practice cars of transport units in the area to support the transportation of people to quarantine locations. After being mobilized, the vehicles of the units were gathered to transport people according to the arrangements of the authorities. After each transfer, the vehicles were thoroughly sprayed and disinfected before returning to operation.

Since last year, the Department of Transport has also mobilized thousands of vehicles from transport units to transport people afterCovid-19 epidemicoutbreak, people flocked from the southern provinces. Gathering people at one point, examining and testing promptly and transferring them to pre-prepared quarantine points contributed to ensuring disease prevention and control and ensuring people's safety after a long journey.

According to records, in recent days, more than 7,000 Nghe An citizens from the southern provinces have crossed Ben Thuy 2 bridge, in addition, 3,600 citizens from the northern provinces have passed through Nghe An province.
It is expected that in the coming days, Nghe An will welcome about 10,000 more citizens returning to their hometowns to avoid the epidemic, not to mention people from other localities who will pass through the province. It is known that depending on the actual situation of the number of people returning to their hometowns, the Nghe An Department of Transport will balance and mobilize transportation vehicles appropriately.
