Nghe An mobilizes maximum force to handle illegal use of fireworks on New Year's Eve in Vinh City.
On the morning of January 28, Vinh City Police held a conference to disseminate the plan to ensure security and order and prevent fireworks on New Year's Eve 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Long - Head of Vinh City Police, emphasized the urgent need to ensure safety and security on New Year's Eve 2025. Accordingly, the City Police will mobilize maximum forces, including Criminal Police, Traffic Police, Public Order Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police, and Task Force 373, to deploy on-duty activities at key locations. Areas such as entertainment areas, places of worship, fireworks display sites, places where political and cultural events are held, main traffic routes, etc.
The forces will coordinate closely to prevent and promptly handle crimes, especially theft, pickpocketing, robbery, and disorder on New Year's Eve. In addition, the traffic police force will focus on controlling and handling violations of the Traffic Law such as illegal racing, weaving, and swerving, thereby preventing the risk of traffic accidents and protecting the safety of people participating in recreational activities.

In addition, Nghe An Provincial Police will also send officers and soldiers from professional departments to the grassroots level, coordinate with the police of communes and wards to deploy patrol and control working groups in key areas, ensure security, order and strictly handle violations of the law, especially the illegal manufacture, storage, purchase, sale, transportation and use of fireworks.
The reinforcement will be deployed by units right from New Year's Eve, ensuring people enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet safely and happily.
