Nghe An opens the 2024 All-Around Militia Artillery Sports Festival

The sports festival has 315 athletes from 82mm mortar teams from 21 districts, cities and towns in the province. The athletes will compete in the following events: Specialized techniques (Specialized sports festival for Gunners No. 1 and No. 2; Specialized sports festival for Battery leaders; Specialized sports festival for the collective of the Artillery Militia Self-Defense Force) and Live-fire (82mm Mortar Militia Self-Defense Force firing observation shots at fixed target artillery; 82mm DKZ Militia Self-Defense Force firing directly at non-moving targets).

At the opening ceremony, the representative of the provincial Military Command requested the agencies, departments of referees, supervisors, security, and service to promote their roles and responsibilities, proactively overcome all difficulties, and create favorable conditions for the athletes to compete and achieve the highest results. Particularly, the athletes must uphold the spirit of noble sportsmanship, solidarity, modesty, compete honestly and be determined to achieve excellent results; at the same time, during the entire sports festival, absolute safety of people and weapons and equipment must be ensured.
