Nghe An opens Smart Operations Center

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement for the period 2020-2025.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 18, the Provincial People's Committee held a signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Telecommunications - Information Technology between the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, period 2020 - 2025.

On the afternoon of December 18, the People's Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT Group) to organize the opening ceremony of the Provincial Intelligent Operations Center (IOC).

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, there were comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, and localities.

On the side of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, there were comrades: Pham Duc Long - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of the Group; Huynh Quang Liem - Deputy General Director of the Group; leaders of the Corporations, Boards of the Group, leaders of VNPT Nghe An.

Nghe An Province's Intelligent Operation Center (Nghe An Province IOC Center) operates on 9 components: socio-economic; public administration; electronic document management system; healthcare management system; education management system; online feedback and interaction management monitoring system; tourism system; information security monitoring system and traffic order and safety monitoring system.

Through the IOC Center, provincial leaders can monitor and inspect activities in each field, each unit, and locality from overview to detail; carry out management and direct direction to departments, branches, and localities; thereby contributing to improving the province's management and direction, improving the quality of service to the people, and improving the efficiency of state agencies.

The IOC Center is built based on many applications of advanced and modern technologies of the 4.0 industrial revolution, designed with high load capacity, can expand in scale as well as add and adjust features in a soft and flexible way, ensuring safety and information security.

The construction of the IOC Center by Nghe An province will help connect with the National IOC Center, which is one of the first steps in the digital transformation and smart city building process. With the digitalization of data and the operating processes of the provincial IOC center, it is mandatory for the province's fields of operation to undergo digital transformation.

The IOC Center is capable of monitoring and managing from the general level to the details of each situation, providing state management agencies with a comprehensive view of the activities taking place in the province. In particular, the technology applied in the system will allow for big data analysis to provide warnings, support decision-making, and develop organizational and operational plans for all levels of government.

One of the important tasks of the IOC is to receive on-site feedback and feedback from the people. This system is built online and can be implemented on smartphones for people to download and install.

Through this application, people can reflect information and opinions to the government quickly and conveniently. The authorities are responsible for responding to people's opinions as soon as possible.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that VNPT Group's support for the province to deploy the Smart Operation Center is extremely meaningful, thereby improving the leadership capacity of the Provincial People's Committee and improving the implementation capacity of departments, branches and localities.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested VNPT Group to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee so that the Provincial Smart Operation Center can be effectively exploited, contributing to building Nghe An province to develop quickly and sustainably.
