Nghe An opens Migration Information Office
(Baonghean.vn) - The migration information office is expected to provide advice and support for workers to make appropriate decisions during the migration process.
On the morning of April 19, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the opening ceremony of the Migration Information Center (MRC).
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches.
MRC office is located at the Employment Service Center of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on Phong Dinh Cang Street (Vinh City).

According to Mr. Dang Cao Thang - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the mission of the MRC Office is to provide information, advice and support for workers to make appropriate decisions during the migration process.
“Coming to this office, workers will be consulted about policies, laws, procedures, and conditions before wanting to migrate abroad. At the same time, they will be introduced to job opportunities at home and abroad,” said Mr. Thang, adding that this is one of the necessary activities for workers in Nghe An who intend to go abroad to study, work, visit relatives, etc., as well as workers returning from abroad.

Nghe An is one of the localities with the largest number of people migrating abroad in the country. In 2017, the whole province had nearly 14,000 people working abroad. The amount of remittances sent to Nghe An this year is estimated at about 500 million USD.
