Nghe An province commends 12 outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement among Catholic communities.

Attending the conference were Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the Vice-Chairpersons of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Father Joseph Nguyen Dang Dien - Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee; and members of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee.

As part of the conference program, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee organized a celebration of the Feast Day.Christmas2024; Announcement of the Christmas Greetings Letter from the Committee for Catholic Solidarity of Vietnam.

In her congratulatory remarks, Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - extended her best wishes to the members of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and the Catholic community for a peaceful, warm, and blessed Christmas season.

In 2024, Catholic parishioners throughout the province actively contributed to economic development, poverty alleviation, and the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas. In the movement for solidarity and economic development, many successful models and examples continued to develop and expand, generating high incomes.

These achievements have contributed to making the appearance of our homeland, our region, and our family increasingly more attractive, clean, beautiful, and civilized.

Priests, philanthropists, and the entire Catholic community responded to the campaigns of the Party and the State, fulfilling the call of the Church. The Catholic community participated in contributing to the construction and renovation of welfare facilities, supporting the construction and renovation of thousands of houses for needy families and solidarity houses, contributing tens of thousands of man-days of labor, tens of tons of rice, and other supplies and materials worth nearly 8.3 billion VND…

In implementing its tasks for 2025, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee has identified the need to intensify widespread dissemination of information among Catholic communities regarding the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations. It also aims to promptly convey the legitimate concerns and aspirations of Catholic parishioners and the Church organization to the government, the Fatherland Front, and relevant departments and agencies for consideration and resolution in accordance with the law.
