Nghe An: Prosecuted 2 subjects for burning down road workers' sheds

(Baonghean.vn)-Que Phong District Police said: The unit has just investigated, clarified and initiated a case, prosecuted two suspects Lo Van Truong (born 1997) and Lu Van Thong (born 1999), both residing in Mo village, Nam Giai commune, for the act of "Property destruction".

Previously, according to the investigation agency, at around 4:30 p.m. on June 23, Tuong and Thong went out to play in Hanh Dich commune. When they passed by the road construction workers' shed of Toan Gia Company Limited (Ha Giang) in Na Xai village, Hanh Dich commune, they saw that there were no people, so Tuong told Thong to go in and burn the shed. After committing the act, the two invited each other to go home.

The next day (June 24), the camp manager, Mr. Vu Hong Dung, submitted a petition to the police requesting an investigation.

Through verification and information collection, the police agency had enough witnesses to issue arrest warrants for Tuong and Thong for property destruction under Clause 1, Article 143 of the Penal Code.

Through property appraisal, the damage from the camp is worth over 30 million VND.
