Nghe An: Prosecuted 2 subjects for illegal trading of invoices and documents
(Baonghean.vn) - In order to legalize the illegal purchase and sale of invoices and reduce the amount of tax payable, the subjects used purchase invoices that did not match the goods and services sold, with the total value of goods recorded as purchased and sold on the invoices being nearly 100 billion VND.
On the afternoon of April 29, the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Province issued a decision to prosecute Vu Thi Hong Thuong (born 1983) and Ha Thi Huyen (born 1985), both residing in Vinh City, to investigate the act of illegally buying and selling invoices and documents.
During the investigation, the Police Department of Investigation of Economic Management Order and Positions of Nghe An Province Police determined that Vu Thi Hong Thuong, residing in Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City, used another person's ID card and signature to register the establishment of Dat Tien Phat Construction and Investment Company Limited and register the legal representative of the Company for the purpose of illegally buying and selling invoices.

After that, Thuong and Ha Thi Huyen, residing in Hung Dung ward (Vinh city), managed and operated the company's activities. During that process, Vu Thi Hong Thuong was the one who signed the economic contracts, payment records, and value-added invoices of Dat Tien Phat Company; Ha Thi Huyen was the one who prepared the financial reports, tax reports, managed the company's value-added invoices, and directed the company's employees to write value-added invoices for sale.
During its operations, Dat Tien Phat Company issued output invoices related to the supply of labor, rental of vehicles, machinery and equipment even though the company had no fixed assets, no construction machinery and equipment, no records of renting means of transport or formwork.
On the other hand, in order to legalize theillegal trading of invoices, to reduce the amount of tax payable, Dat Tien Phat Company used purchase invoices that did not match the goods and services sold such as: Purchase of electrical equipment, household appliances, food, construction materials with goods and services. The total value of goods recorded on the invoices that Dat Tien Phat Company purchased and sold was more than 99.9 billion VND.

According to initial investigation data: Vu Thi Hong Thuong and Ha Thi Huyen illegally sold 55 value-added tax invoices of Dat Tien Phat Company to businesses with a total pre-tax value of more than 3.6 billion VND.
