Nghe An has no stores, gas stations closed due to lack of supply
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to this point, despite the pressure due to the shortage of goods and sudden increase in demand, the gasoline distribution system in the province has tried to meet the consumption volume, no store or agent has reported a shortage of goods.
On the afternoon of February 9, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held an online conference on ensuringgasoline supplyfor the domestic market. Comrade Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade chaired the conference. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of provinces and cities across the country.
At Nghe An bridge, comrade Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and related sectors and representatives of petroleum distribution agents in the province participated.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade said that before the adjustment of gasoline and oil prices after the Lunar New Year (February 11), many gasoline and oil stores in the Southern region closed and temporarily suspended operations due to a shortage of gasoline and oil supply.
This raises concerns about a shortage of gasoline and oil supply; which will cause strong fluctuations in the prices of these essential goods in the coming time... Therefore, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized a meeting to clarify this issue and discuss solutions.
At the conference, according to the report of the Domestic Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, currently, the amount ofgasoline and oil inventoriesAt key enterprises, there are about 1.3 million m3 of all kinds left; the expected purchase volume to supply the market until the end of February 2022 is about 1.55 million m3. With a demand of about 1.8-2 million m3 of all kinds of gasoline/month, the above supply basically meets market demand in February 2022.

From March, supply may decrease, inventory levels may be lower than in normal months. However, Nghi Son Refinery has planned to operate at 100% capacity from March 13, 2022. Currently, key traders also have plans to import gasoline and oil to compensate for the shortage of supply from domestic production (if Nghi Son Refinery cannot ensure production activities are maintained as planned).
Recently, stores have been closing for various reasons.supply shortageThe Ministry of Industry and Trade has directed the Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the market management force to conduct inspections. Accordingly, most gas stations have stopped selling because they source their goods from small gas and oil businesses. In addition, some businesses have limited sales to wait for price increases.

InNghe An,mThe average price of gasoline and oil before, during and after Tet holiday increased by about 20-30%, estimated at about 23,000m3/month.The total average gasoline and oil supply output in the 3 months before, during and after Tet of the gasoline and oil distribution system in the area is about 87,500m3/month, the quantity of goods is stocked by the distribution system and ensures sufficient supply for production and consumption needs in the area.
