(Baonghean.vn) - When traveling to Nghe An, tourists need to respect local culture and customs; dress politely, especially in sacred places; be aware of environmental protection; do not damage cultural and historical relics; do not get drunk or cause trouble... These are the contents of the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism recently issued by the Nghe An Tourism Department.
About 5,000 leaflets promoting the Code of Conduct printed in English reminding tourists to behave civilly have been distributed for free by the Nghe An Tourism Promotion Center at major hotels, tourist attractions and at publication shelves in public places such as airports, train stations, bus stations, etc.

In addition, to enhance the propaganda work on the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Information Center has coordinated to design and build large-scale billboards and LED billboards with beautiful designs, close to tourists at key tourist destinations in the province such as: Cua Lo town, Nam Dan district, Vinh city and tourist destinations such as: Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan), Truong Bon Relic Site, Ho Chi Minh Square, Quang Trung King Temple...; public places such as; bus stations, train stations, Vinh International Airport...
Along with distributing thousands of free leaflets and posters of the code of conduct, Nghe An Tourism Promotion Information Center also created an animated video with propaganda messages in Vietnamese and English. This video will be shared on social networks, shown at public tourist attractions and major hotels in the area.

The Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism in Nghe An province is implemented in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Decision No. 718/QD-BVHTTDL on promulgating the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism.
The code of conduct aims to gradually form habits, civilized behavior, polite and friendly attitudes of staff in the tourism industry and sectors related to tourism activities, management teams and employees of tourism service businesses; raise awareness of Nghe An people about tourism civilization and contribute to creating a good impression on tourists when visiting and relaxing in the province.
The code clearly states that when traveling to Nghe An, tourists need to respect local culture and customs; dress politely, especially in sacred places; be aware of environmental protection; queue when using public services; help the elderly and the disabled, giving priority to children and women; do not destroy cultural and historical relics; do not spit or litter in public; do not show excessive affection in public; do not get drunk and lose control in public...
It is known that in the coming time, the Provincial Tourism Promotion Information Center will continue to promote the Code of Conduct for civilized tourism in many forms and languages suitable for the tourist markets that Nghe An is targeting./.
