Nghe An: Proposal to handle 80 units violating administrative regulations of more than 10.1 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate proposed to recover more than 3 billion VND; proposed to reduce the settlement value, reduce capital allocation and other recommendations of more than 7 billion VND; proposed to administratively handle 3 individuals with violations.

Nghe An Provincial Inspectorate has just reported the results of inspection, complaint and denunciation settlement and corruption prevention and control in the first quarter of 2018. In the first quarter, the entire Inspectorate sector conducted 56 administrative inspections at 228 units, including 47 planned inspections and 9 unscheduled inspections.

Through inspection, 80 inspected units were found to have violated with the amount of violations and recommended handling of more than 10.1 billion VND. Of which, the recommendation was to recover more than 3 billion VND; the recommendation was to reduce the settlement value, reduce capital allocation and other recommendations were more than 7 billion VND. As a result, more than 2.2 billion VND was recovered to the budget, reaching a rate of 72.4%. Through inspection, it was also recommended to administratively handle 3 individuals who violated.

In the field of management and implementation of basic construction investment projects, the entire inspection sector conducted 18 inspections at 76 units. Through inspections, violations were discovered at 16 units with the amount of 6.7 billion VND. Of which, it was recommended to recover 1.4 billion VND to the state budget, recommend reducing the settlement value, reducing capital allocation and other recommendations of 5.3 billion VND.

In the field of financial and budget management and use, the entire inspection sector conducted 35 inspections at 136 units. Through inspections, violations were discovered at 64 units with an amount of 3.37 billion VND. Of which, it was recommended to recover 1.63 billion VND to the state budget; other recommendations were 1.73 billion VND. Through inspections, it was also recommended to administratively handle 3 individuals who committed violations.

In addition, the whole industry conducted 106 specialized inspections at 1,027 individuals and organizations. Through inspections, 561 decisions on administrative sanctions were issued against 498 individuals and 63 organizations with a fine of 2.63 billion VND, the amount of money for handling violated assets (confiscated in cash) was over 1 billion VND; more than 2.7 billion VND was collected.

Violations mainly focus on the fields of transportation, agriculture and rural development, natural resources and environment, health, industry and trade, science and technology, culture and sports, information and communication, and tourism.
