According to a representative of Vinh Railway Station, on August 31, most of the trains arriving and departing through Vinh station were fully booked. The number of passengers returning to Nghe An on August 31 was estimated at over 3,000, one of the busiest days since the beginning of the year. Of which, the main train pairs such as SE1-2, SE3-4, SE5-6, SE7-8 were all fully booked.
Mr. Cao Ngoc Tuan - Head of Vinh Railway Transport Station said: The number of passengers booking tickets during the holiday increased 5-6 times compared to normal days, so there is often an overload. In particular, tickets for August 31 and September 1 are currently sold out. In this situation, Vietnam Railways has added more train pairs to serve people's travel needs. In addition to the fixed train routes, during this holiday, there are other train pairs passing through Vinh such as SE11-12, NA3-4, SE 35-36, QB 1-2, SE17-18.

It is known that not only are the return tickets "sold out", but currently the number of tickets departing from Vinh station to other provinces and cities has also been booked more than 70%, especially on September 4 (the last day of the holiday) when there are only a few tickets left. The reason is that people are worried about running out of train tickets, so they book in advance of the holiday or buy round-trip tickets to travel on the right day.
Not only at the train station, but also at the bus stations, people's travel needs have also increased to their peak at this time. According to statistics from Bac Vinh Bus Station, the entire station currently has 170 passenger cars of all kinds and has been operating 100% to serve passengers. Currently, most of the cars are fully booked on August 31, especially the routes Vinh - Hanoi, Vinh - Da Nang, Vinh - Hue, Vinh - Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Tu - Head of Bac Vinh Bus Station said: During this holiday, people have 4 days off, the demand for traveling and returning to their hometowns has increased, so the number of passengers has also increased dramatically. In addition to booking tickets online, many people have also gone directly to the bus station to book tickets at the bus office. If there is an overload, the unit has also planned to increase and connect more buses to better serve the travel needs of people during the holiday.

"Recently, gasoline prices have decreased, so some transport units have proactively reduced fares to match the actual situation for the convenience of the people. If any transport company takes advantage of the holiday peak to arbitrarily increase fares, passengers can contact the unit to verify and handle according to regulations," Mr. Nguyen Duc Tu emphasized.
