Nghe An disciplined, removed names, expelled 883 party members who are no longer qualified
(Baonghean.vn) - The timely detection and determination to remove unqualified Party members from the Party demonstrates the Party organization's determination to improve the quality of Party members and enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.
Implementing Directive No. 28-CT/TW (dated January 21, 2019) of the Central Party Secretariat, Party committees and organizations in Nghe An regularly review and screen party members right from the party cells. This work is carried out regularly through monthly monitoring and evaluation of the quality of party members of the party cells and periodically reviewing and reporting to the higher-level party committees to decide to expel and remove unqualified party members from the party organization.
Since implementing Directive 28-CT/TW, in 2019 alone, party organizations at all levels in Nghe An have decided to expel or remove from the party organization 883 people, of whom 228 were probationary party members (75 were expelled). At the same time, 91 people who applied to leave the party were approved.
In the first two months of 2020, along with organizing Party congresses at the grassroots level, Party organizations in the province continued to review the quality of Party members and propose removing from the Party those who are no longer qualified.
The timely detection and determination to remove unqualified Party members from the Party demonstrates the Party organization's determination to improve the quality of Party members, enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, contribute to building a clean and strong Party, and consolidate people's trust in the Party.
By the end of 2019, the entire Nghe An Party Committee had 192,320 party members. In the first two months of 2020, party organizations admitted 351 new party members. Along with discovering and nurturing new factors for the Party, party committees at all levels in Nghe An continue to review and improve the quality of party members and grassroots party organizations according to Directive 28-CT/TW of the Central Secretariat.

New regulations on working party members maintaining contact with the Party organization and people in their place of residence
(Baonghean.vn) - The Politburo has just issued Regulation No. 213-QD/TW (dated January 2, 2020) on the responsibility of Party members who are working regularly to maintain contact with the Party organization and the people in their place of residence. This regulation replaces Regulation No. 76-QD/TW dated June 15, 2000 of the 8th Politburo.
