Nghe An hosted the National Table Tennis Tournament for the first time for the best young players.
(Baonghean.vn) – Nghe An is the host of the 2019 National Table Tennis Tournament for Excellent Young Players with the participation of nearly 300 athletes of youth and children age from across the country.
On the evening of August 29, at Nghe An Provincial Sports Stadium, the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An Province to organize the Opening Ceremony of the 2019 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Young, Teenage, and Children.
This year's tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 24 delegations nationwide to compete, including strong table tennis units such as: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, Da Nang, Army...

Athletes of the youth group, the 14-15 year old youth group, the 12-13 year old youth group, the 10-11 year old children group and the 9 year old and under group compete in a round robin to rank from first to last in the men's and women's singles categories.
Through this, the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation and experts monitor and select the best, most potential and promising players to train and develop table tennis athletes for the National Team.
