Nghe An organizes Vinh Orange Fair for the first time

(Baonghean.vn) - 46 booths of organizations and individuals producing and trading oranges in the province participated in the "Vinh - Nghe An Orange Fair 2017". This is the first time Nghe An province has organized the Vinh Orange Fair.

On the morning of December 28, at the Provincial Cultural Information Center, the Provincial People's Committee opened the "2017 Vinh Nghe An Orange Fair". Comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and cut the ribbon to open the fair.

The first "Vinh - Nghe An Orange Fair 2017" was held at the Provincial Cultural Information Center.

The fair gathered 46 booths of oranges and products made from oranges of cooperatives, companies, and households producing and trading oranges in the province.

The fair is an opportunity to promote and introduce the potential and strengths of orange products, especially orange products with the geographical indication “Vinh” to a large number of consumers inside and outside the province. Thereby, promoting trade promotion activities for oranges in the province.

The fair is also an opportunity to discover and honor orange growing and trading establishments that ensure safety, delicious quality, beautiful appearance, and high productivity; Create an environment for orange growing and trading households to share experiences in growing and trading products. Raise awareness among all levels, sectors, and consumers about the production and use of safe, quality products with clear origins.

At the opening ceremony of the Vinh orange fair, 7 units signed a cooperation agreement to consume Vinh orange products. This is an opportunity for Vinh orange products to reach consumers in and outside the province.

The fair is held for 3 days, from December 28 to 30, 2017.
