Nghe An: Leaders of 3 sectors will answer questions at the Provincial People's Council meeting

At this session, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to prepare and submit 18 reports and 22 draft resolutions to the session; at the same time, assigned the Provincial People's Committee to prepare content and assign officials to speak at the question and answer session at the session.
Accordingly, 3 contents are expected to be questioned at this meeting, including:
1. Current situation, causes, responsibilities, and solutions for implementing land and forest allocation, forest management, protection, and development in the province;
2. Traffic accidents, limiting violations of laws on traffic safety and order;
3. Market management, trading, transportation of prohibited goods, smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety...
Up to this point, 18 reports and 22 draft resolutions have been examined by the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council, and the sectors have also seriously received and explained through reports as requested by the Standing Committee and Committees of the Provincial People's Council.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned 3 sectors, including: Traffic - Transportation, Industry and Trade and Agriculture - Rural Development to prepare content and directly speak at the question and answer session at this Provincial People's Council meeting.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to directly report at the meeting on a number of important contents, such as the socio-economic situation in 2017, tasks in 2018; budget estimates and allocation for 2018; contents of reports and draft resolutions submitted to the meeting; results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations before, during and after the 4th session of the Provincial People's Council; report on supplementing the position of Provincial People's Committee member for the 2016 - 2021 term.
Participating in the meeting, the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Transport, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, etc. all affirmed their responsibilities and said they were focusing highly on preparing for the meeting.
However, according to Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Council Office Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, currently only 5/22 resolutions and 5/18 reports under the responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee have been completed and sent to the Provincial People's Council. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee needs to focus on directing the completion of the remaining resolutions and reports so that the Provincial People's Council can send them to the Provincial People's Council delegates in accordance with regulations, no later than 5 days before the session.
The Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Council also requested the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to review for the last time the draft Resolution on the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations to ensure accuracy before submitting it to the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Provincial People's Council meeting at the end of the year is very important to review the entire process of leadership, direction and administration as well as the socio-economic situation in 2017, and set out tasks for socio-economic development in 2018; therefore, he requested the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the sectors to be serious and responsible, contributing to the success of the meeting.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that within 2 days (December 11 and 12), relevant sectors must focus on completing reports, draft resolutions and reports explaining questions to send to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council.
To ensure the quality of the question and answer session, in addition to the responsibilities of the sectors assigned to answer, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors to be proactive in answering in depth issues related to the sectors and fields under their charge; including areas related to issues that the Provincial People's Council and voters are interested in at the discussion sessions in the hall and group discussions.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the sectors to proactively advise and concretize the resolutions of the People's Council issued at this 5th session to soon put the resolutions into life.
